10 days away

Hello friends. Our 10th year reunion is only 10 days away and so far, not many people have signed up. I know that there was a lot of interest, but it seems as though not many followed through. I am not sure if there are more of you that want to go that have not registered, etc. Please, let's make this a good turn out. I have not seen many of you, or most of you for that matter, in 10 years. I would like nothing more than to spend a few days with as many of you as possible, catching up. I hope you all do as well.

Helloooo!

Hellooooooo there SA 97!

Hetz....you are always full of great ideas...but this whole 'blog' thing takes the cake! It is so great hearing about what everyone is up to! Congrats to all of you on the awesome jobs, marriages, kids etc....

I am pumped for the big 10 year reunion...where does the time go?

As for me.....2 weeks ago I tied to knot to awesomeeee Todd Palmer. It was the best day of my life! We got married at the Wequassett Inn on the Cape...and then had the most amazing honeymoon ever. BIG shout out to Mike Cirelli who was our photographer and SOOO awesome! If you are at work and looking to procrastinate, check out his work! www.pictage.com

So.....I am back here in Hackensack, NJ!! I moved down to NJ 3 years ago to be closer to Todd.
I teach 8th grade science in Ridgewood, NJ....and I must say...there is nothing more fun than working with kids at the goofy age of 13. I also coach girls hoops at the high school, big surprise there eh?!

Looking forward to seeing all of you next month!!!

Meaghan

Whats up SA!

Well it sure has been a long time and it is really nice to hear what everyone has been up to. I want to congratulate Anne and Jane, having a family is very exciting. I have a two and a half year old daughter and I am 6 months pregnant with another one now. I also wont be able to make the reunion because I think I will be too far along in my pregnancy to travel. I have been married for almost 4 years and we have been living on Long Island and about a year ago we moved to a town called Merrick. It is on the south shore right by the beaches. Other than being a mom I have been trying to get my graduate degree in teaching high school biology. I still have another year until I can teach so I am almost there. I wish the reunion was at a different time because I really would have loved to go but I am happy to see and hear what everyone has been up to. If anyone happens to be on Long Island at any time let me know I would love to get together. Here is a picture of my little girl her name is Talia. Keep in touch.

Hello Everyone!

It is great to read the updates on everyone . I look forward to seeing those who are going to the reunion. It has been 10 years since I have been back at Suffield and I know a lot has changed.

I am currently in my last semester of graduate school studying Healthcare administration. I live in Hamilton, NY where I am from. To pay the bills, I work as a research assistant for a professor at Colgate University. Like Hetzel I have dedicated some of my time in Africa as well. I was a Peace Corp volunteer in Niger, West Africa from 2003-2005.

I hope all is well.

Fabulous Idea, Hetz!!

This blog is an awesome idea!! Anne, congratulations on ALL your news--that is SUPER exciting!! Jane, congrats to you as well, your son is beautiful!!

I am currently working on the South Shore, in my hometown of Duxbury, MA. I have been in the employee benefits arena for 3 years now. I also work with individual life insurance and long-term care products. As of this weekend, I will be residing in South Boston, so if any of you are in the Boston/South Shore area, I would love to catch up...Jane, maybe we can grab lunch or something??

Am going to try to make it out to the reunion...god, 10 years, I can't even believe it!!

Love it!

It is so good to hear from all of you! Congrats to the both of you, by the way. It seems as though things are well. I do not have any children yet, so I have been able to travel quite a bit. I will be able to write more a bit later, but the picture below explians what I have been dedicated a bunch of my time to (Africa!). I will talk to you all soon.

What's up?

This blog is a great idea. Anne, congrats - that's awesome news!
As for me, I married Bill Rivers '96 a couple of years ago, and we have a 5 month-old son named Liam. We live down on the South Shore of Massachusetts, so are not terribly far away from Suffield. We're going to try to make the reunion this year, so hope to see lots of you there!

Hey All!

Thanks for hooking this up, Hetz!

I do have some news that I'd like to share with ya'll. I am getting married on November 11th, 2007 to the most wonderful man I have ever met. Katie Kuyper is coming out to Virginia (from LA, as most of you know) to be in the wedding. Also, we are pregnant! hahaha We're due in January and just found out last week that we're having a baby girl. Before you guys think I got knocked up and now we're getting married, know that's not the case... LOL Because of my medical stuff, and the opportunity to work with the Jones Institute of Reproductive Medicine, we went ahead and started trying to get pregnant about a year ago. We had the support of our parents and finally made it happen. :)

Unfortunately, we won't be able to make it to the reunion. Being that far along in the pregnancy and 2 weeks away from the wedding, I don't think it'd be a very good idea. I hope that you all have a great time that weekend.

Hope you guys are doing well and I'd love to hear from anyone!

Yoooooooooooooooooooooooooo

I thought I would create one of these bad-boys so we all can stay connected. Feel free to post anything; updates, pictures, stories, etc. I hope to hear from you all soon. Collie, no nude pictures, please.
